About This Product
Accel 38-amp unmolded alternator stator for 1997 to 1998 FLT Touring models. The windings are not encapsulated in plastic, so oil flows directly over them and carries the heat away. That stops the burnouts common on stock units on these older machines. These older Evolution baggers often run a lot of lights and heated kit, so the charging system needs the extra help.
