This Cycle Electric un-molded alternator stator is a high-performance upgrade for early 80s Big Twins. By leaving the stator un-molded, Cycle Electric allows for much better oil flow and cooling around the windings, which prevents the common overheating issues that lead to stator failure. This 22 AMP unit fits 1981 to 1988 Big Twin models and replaces OEM part number 29965-81A. It is a smart investment for any rider looking to improve the reliability of their Evolution or late Shovelhead charging system, ensuring a longer service life and consistent power delivery.
