About This Product
This late OEM style ignition coil provides reliable 12-volt performance with a 5-ohm resistance, finished in a clean black coating for a factory look. It features the styling characteristic of 1985 to 1999 models and is designed to bolt directly onto stock coil mounts. This coil is compatible with 1965 to 1999 Big Twin and 1965 to 2003 XL Sportster models that utilize a points ignition system. It is a dual-fire coil intended for carbureted models and should not be used with Twin Cam or other single-fire setups. It is a dependable replacement for OEM 31609-65A and 516945, offering consistent spark delivery for your vintage or Evolution-powered Harley.
