About This Product
MCS pinion shaft for early Big Twin timing chest. Fits 1939 to 1953 Big Twin models. Replaces OEM 24006-39. Proper alignment matters for oil pump drive and cam gear life. Use it during a bottom-end overhaul on a Panhead or Knucklehead. Check the gear case for wear before fitting. Torque the retaining hardware to spec and check end float on the gears.
