About This Product
MCS pinion shaft nut. 3/4-20 thread pitch. Secures the flywheel end of the pinion shaft in the primary. Fits late 1981 to 1988 Big Twin. Replaces OEM 24016-80. Use a fresh nut during a bottom-end rebuild. The old one has done its miles. Torque it to spec and use the correct washer. Proper clamping load keeps the flywheels in place and the threads true.
