About This Product
This MCS polished kick start kit is sold as a kit. It fits 1971 to 1972 XL Sportster models. These bikes were kickstart only from the factory. The polished finish suits the engine cases of that era. You get the lever, shaft and internals to replace a tired mechanism. Check the quadrant and spring for wear before you fit it. Lubricate the shaft during assembly.
