About This Product
MCS thrust washer for the 3rd gear on the transmission mainshaft. Fits 1986 to 1990 4-speed XL Sportsters. Replaces OEM 35356-86. It sets the lateral spacing for the gear set and takes the thrust between the gear and the shaft shoulder. If third gear has gone noisy or you are splitting the cases for an overhaul, fit a new one. Do not reuse the old washer once you have measured the end-float. Sold as a pack.
