This +0.002 inch oversize transmission mainshaft bearing race is a precision replacement for late-1984 to 1990 Harley-Davidson four-speed XL Sportster gearboxes where the housing bore has been reconditioned. The oversize outer diameter allows a correct interference fit in a worn or reamed housing, restoring proper bearing location. An oversize alternative to the standard OEM part 35041-84 for transmission rebuilds requiring bore restoration.
