About This Product
James Gaskets shifter shaft seal for 1974-1985 Harley-Davidson FX models, excluding FXWG and FXST. Each bike uses two seals, one in the inner primary and one in the inspection cover. It stops primary fluid from leaking past the shifter shaft. The inspection cover seal is easy to overlook when you have the primary open. Check the shaft for grooving where the seal lip sits. A polished groove will still leak. Replaces OEM 60641-74. Sold as a pack of five.
