The JIMS tappet pump test stand is an essential tool for any serious engine builder looking to ensure a quiet and reliable top end. This kit allows you to check for loose or spongy tappets using pressurized oil before they are ever installed in the bike. It makes it easy to diagnose inadequate sealing or faulty tappets that could cause issues in a running engine. The stand requires oil, compressed air, and a drill press to operate. It is compatible with 1999 to 2017 Twin Cam, 2017 to 2022 Milwaukee-Eight, 2000 to 2022 Sportster, 2008 to 2012 XR1200, and 2000 to 2010 Buell XB models. Note that testing Evolution tappets requires a separate insert, part number 962006.
