JIMS 5-speed shifter shaft seal installer seats the OEM 12045 seal square and to the correct depth. It fits 1980 to 2006 5-speed Big Twins excluding the 2006 Dyna. Using this tool beats tapping the seal in with a screwdriver and hoping for the best. You centre the seal, drive it home, and avoid tearing the lip or cocking it in the bore. The transmission stays dry and the job takes five minutes.
