About This Product
These S&S Shovelhead cylinder heads are a serious upgrade for 1979 to 1984 Big Twin models using the band-style intake. Finished in natural aluminum, these heads are designed as a bolt-on replacement that significantly outperforms the factory units. While stock heads usually flow around 124 cfm, these S&S versions bump that up to approximately 135 cfm at 10 inches of water. This kit is sold as a set and comes fully assembled with valves, springs, collars, and valve guide seals already installed. We also include the necessary rocker cover and exhaust gaskets to get the job done. They are ready to run and can handle high-performance camshafts with a lift of up to .590 inches.
