About This Product
This MCS mechanical advance unit is a complete assembly designed for riders running points or electronic ignitions that require a mechanical advance. The kit is made from durable steel and comes fully assembled with breaker weights, springs, and the circuit breaker cam. It is a direct replacement for OEM 32517-70, 32522-70, 32605-70, and 32542-70. Fitment covers a wide range of Harleys, including 1970 to 1999 Big Twins (excluding Twin Cam models) and 1971 to 2003 Sportsters. If your bike is suffering from erratic timing or poor throttle response, replacing a worn-out advance unit with this complete assembly is often the quickest way to get your ignition timing back on track.
