About This Product
When rebuilding a vintage Big Twin transmission, precision is everything. This clutch-side countershaft bushing is oversized by .005" to help compensate for wear in the transmission case, ensuring a tight and proper fit. It is designed for the loose roller type bearings found in 1937 through early 1976 Big Twin models. This part replaces the standard size bushings referenced by OEM 36048-36 and 2314-36A. As with any high-quality transmission bushing, it will require professional reaming to size after installation to ensure the countershaft rotates smoothly and without play. It is an essential component for restoring gear alignment in classic Harley-Davidson gearboxes.
