If your 4-speed Big Twin is having trouble returning the shifter to center or feels vague between gears, a tired shifter pawl spring might be the culprit. This replacement spring is designed for rotary top transmissions and is a direct replacement for OEM 33199-79. It fits late 1979 to 1986 4-speed Big Twin models. Only one is required for the application, but these are often replaced during a top cover service to ensure snappy, reliable shifting. This spring provides the necessary tension for the pawl mechanism to function correctly. It is a simple but critical part for keeping your classic Shovelhead or early Evolution 4-speed shifting like it should. This item is sold in a pack of ten.
