About This Product
For those performing a strict stock restoration, this reproduction Star hub from MCS is an exact replica of the original factory parts. It features a black parkerized finish and uses OEM-style roller bearings with cages. This is a "Step Hub" as used by the factory, even including the authentic seam found in original 1936 to 1940 hubs. While it is perfect for 1936 to 1940 WL style restorations, it will also physically fit 1941 to 1952 WL and 1936 to 1964 Big Twin models. This component is a faithful reproduction of OEM number 43540-36 and is the ideal choice for riders who want their vintage Harley to look and function exactly as it did when it left the showroom.
