About This Product
This MCS 7-tooth speedometer drive gear replaces the ring drive inside the transmission case. It drives the speedo cable. It replaces OEM 35635-36 and 2301-36C. It fits 1936 to 1961 Big Twins with Flathead or OHV engines. Check the teeth for wear when you have the early four-speed box apart. A worn gear throws your speedo reading out. You need this gear in good condition for accurate speed readings.
