About This Product
MCS front caliper piston assembly. Replaces OEM 44157-77. Fits 1980 to 1983 FXWG, 1977 to early 1978 FXS, and early 1978 to 1983 FX, FXR and XL Sportster models with dual front disc brakes. Replace the piston if the caliper is sticking or weeping fluid. Clean the bore with brake cleaner and check for pitting before you install the new assembly. Use fresh brake fluid and bleed both lines thoroughly.
