About This Product
This chrome-plated steel starter motor end cover is a clean way to dress up your bike's electrical system. It serves as a direct replacement for OEM 31524-80 and is designed to fit 1986 to 1988 Softail models, as well as 1980 to 1988 FLT Touring and FXR models. Beyond the standard fitment, this cover also works with Prestolite starter motors on 1967 to 1980 Sportster XL and late 1966 to 1983 FL and FX models, provided the cut-out is mounted facing downwards. It is a simple but effective upgrade for anyone looking to replace a weathered original or add some extra shine to their starter assembly.
