925522 Clear crankcase timing plug tool

Timing an older Harley can be a messy job, but this clear crankcase timing plug tool from MCS makes it a lot cleaner. This clear plastic, 5/8"-18 threaded tool is a reproduction of the OEM 96295-65B timing mark view plug. It is designed for dynamic timing using a strobe light, allowing you to see the flywheel marks clearly while the engine is running without getting covered in oil spray. It fits 1938–1999 Big Twins (excluding Twin Cams), 1952–2003 XL Sportsters, and 1938–1973 45" Flathead models. Simply screw it in until it lightly touches the flywheel for a perfect view. It serves as a temporary replacement for the standard hex or Allen head timing plugs during the tuning process.
