About This Product
Removing the large 2-1/4 inch hex nut on a modern 6-speed transmission requires a specialized tool, and this MCS socket is built for exactly that. It is designed to fit the regular right-hand threaded nut (OEM 35241-06) that secures the rear drive transmission pulley. This socket is compatible with 2006 to 2017 Dyna models, and 2007 to 2026 Softail, Touring, and Trike models. Given the high torque specs required for this nut, a proper deep-well socket is necessary to avoid slipping and rounding off the corners. This heavy-duty tool is sold individually and is a requirement for anyone performing belt replacements or transmission output shaft repairs.
