For 6-speed transmission work, the MCS main bearing installer tool is the right way to seat the transmission case bearing. It is designed to work with OEM bearings 8967 and 8967A, ensuring the bearing is pressed in at the correct angle to prevent galling or damage to the bearing bore. Like its companion removal tool, this can be used without pulling the transmission from the frame. It fits 2006 to 2017 Dynas and 2007 to 2024 Softail and Touring models. Using this tool, which matches OEM 925565, ensures a professional, factory-standard installation every time.
