MCS starter gear spring. Replaces OE 33447-89 for the 1989 Big Twin. It is a small but vital part of the starter drive assembly. It provides the tension that retracts the starter gear after the engine fires. Over time it can lose tension or break. That causes starter hang-up or noise. Replace it when you have the primary apart. Pack of 10.
