About This Product
S&S cylinder head gasket. It is .032" Klingerit composite for 3-5/8" big bore cylinders. Fits 1936 to 1947 Knucklehead and 1948 to 1965 Panhead with big bore cylinders using the Panhead bolt pattern. Klingerit seals well under the heat and compression of a large-displacement motor. These old motors move around, so a composite gasket that can take the distortion helps. Check your head bolts for stretch and your thread pitch before fitting. Torque to spec in three stages. Do not reuse tired fasteners on a big bore.
