About This Product
This JIMS valve guide seal installer is a specialized tool for any mechanic working on high-performance Twin Cam heads. It is designed specifically for installing 5/16" x .530" Steel Grip type seals, replacing the need for makeshift drivers. This tool fits 2007 to 2017 110" Twin Cam CVO models, excluding 2016 to 2017 Softails, and is used in conjunction with the OEM 18046-98 seal style. For best results, use this with the 978227 valve guide driver handle to ensure the seals are seated squarely and securely without distortion, preventing oil leaks into the combustion chamber.
