When you are performing a top-end overhaul on a CVO engine, the JIMS shoulderless valve guide installer is the right tool for the job. It is specifically designed to install valve guides equipped with 5/16" x .530" Steel Grip seals to the exact depth required. This tool fits 2007 to 2017 Twin Cam 110" CVO engines, excluding 2016 to 2017 Softails. It is intended for use with the JIMS 961423 handle. Using the correct installer prevents damage to the guide and ensures the OEM 18046-98 style seals function perfectly for oil control, maintaining engine performance.
