About This Product
This straight shifter rod from MCS is a versatile component for your drivetrain, measuring 10-1/2 inches in length with a 5/16-24 thread on both ends. Finished in bright chrome, it is designed to be used with standard ball bearing heim joints or spherical rod ends to create a custom-length shift linkage. It fits a wide range of models, including 1986 to 2026 Softails (excluding 2018 to 2026 Street Bob, Low Rider, and 2020 to 2024 Standard models), 1986 to 2026 Touring models, and 2009 to 2026 Trikes. It also serves as a replacement for OEM 11729. Sold individually, it is a solid choice for both repairs and custom applications.
