About This Product
This throttle shaft spring is a small but vital component for any Linkert carburetor rebuild. It is designed to fit nearly all Linkert models, including the M-5, 18, 25, 35, 41, 45, 51, 52, 61, 74, and 75 series. This spring provides the necessary tension to return the throttle to the closed position, ensuring safe and predictable operation. It fits 1931 to 1965 Harley-Davidson models, with the exception of 1958 to 1965 Servi-Cars. This part is a direct replacement for OEM numbers 27291-32 and 960440. Keeping a fresh spring in your carb prevents sticking and maintains that crisp throttle feel that these classic bikes are known for.
