About This Product
For transmission rebuilds where the housing has seen some wear, this +.005" oversize countershaft bushing from MCS provides the extra material needed for a perfect press fit. Like the standard version, it uses a caged roller design to ensure smooth rotation and reliability. It is based on the OEM 36048-76A specification but with that crucial oversize dimension for worn cases. This bushing fits the clutch side of late 1976 to 1986 4-speed Big Twins and the starter side of 1980 to 1986 4-speed Big Twin models. It is a lifesaver for mechanics looking to save a vintage gearbox case that has become slightly out of spec over decades of service.
