Tuning a Linkert carburetor for high-speed performance requires a precise needle, and this MCS high-speed needle is built for exactly that. It is designed to fit M-61, 74, and 74b carburetors, which were standard on late 1950 to 1965 Panhead models. This needle is a direct replacement for OEM 27300-50 and part number 970389. The taper and finish of the needle are critical for metering fuel correctly at higher RPMs, and this replacement ensures your vintage Big Twin runs cleanly across the entire powerband. If your original needle is worn or damaged, this MCS component is a reliable way to restore the accuracy of your Linkert’s fuel delivery.
