This MCS air intake disc, also known as a choke plate, is a critical component for the cold-start system of vintage Linkert carburetors. Measuring 1 1/8 inches, it is designed to fit M-35T, 36, 45, 45A, 61, 74, and 74B carburetor models. This disc fits 1948 through 1957 Overhead Valve models. It is a direct replacement for OEM part number 27225-48. A properly functioning choke plate is essential for easy starting and smooth warm-up periods. Over time, these discs can become bent or worn, leading to poor starting performance. Replacing your old plate with this MCS version ensures your vintage Harley starts reliably every time, maintaining the original intake specifications.
