About This Product
MCS countershaft spring for the transmission top cover. It replaces OEM 33455-26 and 2168-26. It fits 1929 to 1973 45-inch Flathead models. This spring returns the shifter pawl and keeps gear alignment correct in the WL and Servi-Car gearbox. A weak or snapped spring causes sloppy shifting and missed gears. Check the pawl for wear while the top cover is off.
