About This Product
This Cometic top end gasket kit is built specifically for late 1973 through 1976 XL1000 models, giving you everything required for a complete top end rebuild. The set includes .032 inch copper cylinder head gaskets and .031 inch copper cylinder base gaskets, along with all necessary seals and O-rings. These gaskets replace OEM references 17037-60, 17030-70, and 17030-72A. Note that if you are working on a 1972 to early 1973 XL1000, you will need to source James copper head gaskets separately under part number 518284, as the Cometic head gaskets in this kit suit the later models. Sold as a set.
