About This Product
Cometic transmission mainshaft oil seal. Single lip. Metal outside diameter for a press-fit. Replaces OEM 12044A. Fits 1980 to early 1984 FLT Touring and FXR models with 5-speed transmissions. These early 5-speed boxes need precise sealing. This seal keeps the gearbox dry and stops primary fluid migration. Fit it with a proper driver. Do not lever it in with a screwdriver or you will distort the case.
