About This Product
This Cometic primary cover gasket and seal kit is sold as a complete set, covering both outer and inner primary covers for 1980–1993 FLT/Touring and FXR models. The kit includes precision-cut AFM (Aluminum Foamet Material) gaskets featuring an aluminum core with chemically blown nitrile synthetic foam rubber bonded to both sides, plus all necessary o-rings and double-lipped oil seals. The visible composite gaskets display dark gray AFM construction with precisely punched mounting holes, while the nitrile seals and o-rings provide positive fluid retention. Unlike conventional cork or paper gaskets, this AFM material conforms to surface imperfections without requiring additional gasket sealers or silicone bead. Direct replacement for OEM references 34901-85, 25416-84, 34906-79A, 34906-85A, 25416-70, and 34902-79A.
