About This Product
When you are running 3-5/8 inch big bore cylinders on a 1963 to 1965 Panhead or a 1966 to 1984 Shovelhead, you need a base gasket that can handle the extra heat and pressure. These Cometic cylinder base gaskets are sold as a pair and utilize .020 inch Multi-Layer Steel construction. They feature embossed stainless steel layers coated on both sides with a high-temperature polymer rubber rated up to 250 degrees Celsius. The layers are riveted together outside the sealing surface, making installation straightforward while ensuring the inner stainless steel rings stay perfectly aligned for a leak-free engine.
