About This Product
Cycle Electric solid-state regulator/rectifier. Black. Replaces OEM 74516-86. Fits 1981 to 1988 Harley-Davidson Big Twin models including Shovelhead and early Evolution machines. Works with stock 18 to 22 amp charging systems. The connector is 2-pin male. Solid-state internals give more precise regulation than old mechanical units. Bolt it to the factory mount and check charging output at the battery before you finish.
