This Cycle Electric 12-volt generator is a top-tier, USA-made component that combines classic looks with modern performance. It features a built-in electronic voltage regulator, eliminating the need for an external regulator box. This standard output unit is a custom replacement for the OEM 29975-65B generator and fits 1965 to 1969 Big Twin models as well as 1965 to 1984 XL Sportsters. It can also be used on 1936 to 1984 models when converting to a 12-volt system. If you are replacing a Hitachi 65B generator on an 82-84 Sportster, be sure to add the 31035-58 oil deflector. It is a robust, reliable solution for vintage Harley charging systems.
