Evolution Industries 84-tooth starter ring gear and jackshaft kit converts 1990 to 1993 Big Twin models from the stock 66-tooth setup to an 84-tooth ring gear. It pairs the 84-tooth gear with a 9-tooth pinion for a 15 percent increase in cranking torque. The complete jackshaft kit drops into the primary and helps cure kick-back on early Evolution motors. Check the pinion shaft for end float while you are in there.
