Evolution Industries 9-tooth EasyStart pinion gear fits 1990 to 1993 Big Twins with the Evolution Industries 84-tooth ring gear conversion. This is a dedicated part for that kit only. It is machined from aircraft-quality steel, heat-treated, and finished with black oxide. It meshes with the 84-tooth ring to give the 15% torque increase at the starter. Do not fit it to other setups.
