Evolution Industries EasyStart jackshaft assembly is the required companion for their 84-tooth ring gear conversion on 1989 to 1993 Big Twins. It uses a 9-tooth pinion gear. The kit includes the jackshaft, bolt, spring, pinion gear, thrust washer, lock plate, and couplings. This setup gives more mechanical advantage to turn over large-bore engines. Fit this when the standard starter labours. Use it only with the matching 84-tooth ring gear.
