About This Product
The BDL 3-inch Street Drive electric-start belt drive kit in polished aluminium is designed for 1970–1978 Shovelhead models with ratchet-top type 4-speed transmission, rear chain drive only. Features a ball-bearing lock-up clutch and 76:47 drive ratio. Modifications are required during installation including oil tank bracket clearancing on FX models. Uses a L79–86 clutch arm (OEM 37054-79A). A BDL starter (MCS 518658) or any 1989–1993 stock-dimension starter can be used. Replacement belt 506920 available separately.
