It is designed to fit 1991 to 2006 Big Twin models, though it excludes 2006 Dyna models which moved to a different primary setup. This assembly is a direct replacement for OEM part number 31663-90 and is essential for restoring reliable starting when your current clutch begins to slip or grind. Please note that you must reuse your stock starter shaft when installing this unit. It is a cost-effective way to rebuild your starter motor rather than replacing the entire unit.
