About This Product
Samwel 12-volt electronic voltage regulator for 1932–1957 Big Twin and 45-inch models that have been retro-fitted with a 12-volt two-brush generator. This electronic unit replaces the original mechanical regulator, replacing Harley-Davidson OEM 4785-38/12, and requires no wiring changes for installation. Supplied without a cover — optional chrome or black covers are available separately. The electronic design provides more consistent voltage regulation than the original mechanical points-style regulator, resulting in more reliable charging and longer battery life on your vintage Harley.
