About This Product
S&S generator cam cover kit fits late 1948 to 1953 OHV Big Twins with original crankcases. It does not fit side-valve models. The cover is cast from 356-T6 aluminium with a burnished finish to match S&S cases. The redesigned internal baffle chamber improves crankcase ventilation and oil-air separation. Bushings are installed and reamed to factory specs, including the 11/16-inch ID pinion bushing. The kit includes the gear cover gasket and hardware. The generator mounting holes are 1/4-inch. If you are running a 1958 or later generator, drill them out to 5/16-inch.
