About This Product
Loctite 518/548 is a medium-strength gasket eliminator paste supplied in a 50cc tube. This anaerobic sealant is designed to form a flexible, solvent-resistant seal between rigid metal faces, such as transmission covers and crankcase halves. It fills gaps up to 0.25mm and will not tear or decay like traditional paper gaskets, ensuring a leak-proof assembly. It is particularly effective on aluminum components and remains stable in temperatures up to 150°C. For Harley-Davidson mechanics, this Loctite formula provides a reliable way to seal engine and primary cases without the need for pre-cut gaskets.
