About This Product
A precision-machined sprocket shaft from JIMS, designed to fit 1957–1976 XL Sportster engines with OEM flywheels. The shaft includes a keyway and is compatible with key 23985-12. JIMS manufactures these shafts in Camarillo, California from specially ordered steel. Each shaft is individually inspected, heat-treated for durability, and ground to a 16-micron finish or better. All ground diameters are held concentric to within 0.0003 inches, which means less time truing during your rebuild. If you are reconditioning a vintage Ironhead bottom end, this is a shaft you can trust to hold tolerances.
