About This Product
This complete S&S cam chest kit is the ultimate performance upgrade for 1999 to 2006 Twin Cam models, excluding 2006 Dynas. Sold as a set, it features 509G gear-drive bolt-in camshafts with a .509 inch lift. By switching to gear drive, you eliminate the stock chain tensioner issues while optimizing timing. The kit is comprehensive, including a high-flow oil pump, cam support plate, performance hydraulic tappets, and adjustable chromoly pushrods that allow for installation without pulling the top end apart. It provides more consistent oil pressure and upgrades early Twin Cams to the superior 2007 to 2017 style oil pump design.
