About This Product
This S&S 585G gear drive camshaft kit is built for high-performance Twin Cams from 1999 to 2006, excluding the 2006 Dyna. It is a versatile kit that works well in 88" to 106" engines with higher compression, or larger 106" to 124" motors. The .585" lift provides a massive power boost in the mid-to-high RPM range. By moving to a gear drive, you remove the weak link of the factory chain tensioners. This kit includes the inner and outer gears, gaskets, and bearings. Note that adjustable pushrods are required to compensate for the smaller base circle, ensuring your valvetrain geometry remains perfect for high-speed operation.
