About This Product
Stripped drain plug threads are a common headache in the shop, but this Colony oversized drain plug offers a reliable fix. Finished in black parkerized steel, this 7/16-20 threaded hex plug is designed specifically to repair cases where the original 3/8-24 threads, like those found on OEM 700, have failed. It fits 1936 to 1970 Big Twin crankcases and 1937 to 1973 45-inch models, as well as the oil pump body on 1968 to 1984 Big Twins. Note that you will need to tap the hole to 7/16-24 before installation, as the tap is not included.
